RhinoCAM is a machining plug-in that runs inside of Rhino. It is created byMecSoft, the same company that brings you Visual Mill - a stand-alone machining program packed with features at an unbeatable price. There exist two versions of RhinoCAM, Basic and Pro, as well as a flat art to 3D accessory called RhinoART.
RhinoCAM Basic is an entry level program with an excellent feature set for beginner, hobby or school use. RhinoCAM basic includes 2.5 axis, 3 Axis and hole-making operations. It comes with dozens of post-processors and a post-processor generator to create user definable post-processors. 4th axis is optional. |

RhinoArt is used to convert flat artwork into 2D or 3D geometry suitable for machining. RhinoArt adds to Rhino a complementary set of modeling techniques for jewelry design, sign making and model making. Geometry created with RhinoArt can be modified and combined with other Rhinogeometry, exported to rapid prototyping processes or used byRhinoCAM to create toolpaths. |

Note that RhinoCAM Pro, RhinoCAM Basic and RhinoArt require Rhino installed - they are not stand-alone. If you do not already own it, Rhino can be bought bundled with RhinoCAM for a special price.
